Some shows have bad names, but does anyone have a reason why they hate a particular show?

I wished that the burnout contests at shows all had time limits --- I mean competeing against a moron in a stock vehicle that takes 10 minutes to blow there tire with a stock motor into the rev limitor is boring for the crowd and disappointing to lose to.

True. Because they would not win against someone burning off half of an expensive slick. Most of the tires that people run until they pop are under $100.

Its not even the smoke issue its the fact that unless you flagrantly wreck your vehicle .......... you probably won't win

I hate shows that don't have good coverage. Spend all sorts of time on a show but don't promote it to get people out there.

Hate showing up and leaving disappointed

I agree totally with spikesblazin.... we are in the same boat, the suv's always get lumped into one big butt fuckin category...

Its sad when some huge lifted POS beats out a 50k sound comp luxery suv.....SAD....

I also hate shows with really blatantly partial judges... And everyone knows there are wayyyyy too many of those to list in a single post....

Good point, but one thing is the money usually does go to charity....

But I agree I dont think you should be able to win a show becuase you "bought" a car it should go to the builder......

I really like the build off's that you see on TV.

Give a shop a few months to design and build, and then put them in a show...

TV Coverage and Sponsorship equals big bucks and a good payout for the winner. It would make building a trick ride worth while.
